How it Works

The Melbourne Flexi Attractions Pass from iVenture offers up to 50% savings off combined general admission prices. It’s the least expensive iVenture product in Melbourne and is a smart choice for travelers who know what they want to see.

The product comes in increments of three, five, or seven attractions. You can visit the number of attraction tickets you purchased during the three-month window the pass is valid. Choose anything from the list above.

The pass itself is a plastic Smart Card, like a credit card. Present the pass to each of your chosen attractions in lieu of paper tickets or booklets, and you’re ready to enjoy your attraction!

What’s Good?

The Melbourne Flexi Attractions Pass is, first and foremost, a high value product. You’ll save up to 50% on combined admission prices, and that’s not a deal you’ll get on individual tickets.

The pass is also really flexible in attraction choice. You don’t need to pick what you want to see at the time of purchase (although some attractions do require reservations).

It also couldn’t be easier to use. Just keep the same card and show it to all of your chosen attractions. They’ll scan the card, and let you in.

The duration of the pass is another great benefit for many of the iVenture products in Australia. You have three months to see all your chosen attractions, so it’s actually a smart buy for tourist and locals.

There are also some additional discounts on special experiences in Melbourne, which can help you save if those are activities you’re interested in.

The full color guidebook and map are essential when it comes to planning your itinerary. It makes it so much easier to have all the important info in one place.

How Could the Pass Get Better?

The Melbourne Flexi Attractions Pass offers you access to over 30 of the city’s best attractions. Unfortunately, you’re limited to choosing only seven with the pass at most. If you want to see and do more, you’re paying more. Should that be the case, you may want to consider the Unlimited Attractions Pass.by iVenture Melbourne.

Another important thing to note is that the pass typically covers just general admission. Special exhibits are museums, etc., are not usually covered. The Melbourne Flexi Attractions Pass does include some discounts on select upgraded experiences, however, like the SEA LIFE Penguin Passport.

Get Your Money’s Worth

The way to get your money’s worth here is pretty simple. Visit the number of attractions you paid for, and you’ll make up the cost of the card. Sometimes plans change, but that’s where the three months duration of the pass is an especially nice benefit.

Another smart tip is to use the pass to visit more expensive attractions. The higher the price of the attractions you see, the greater savings you’ll get with the product. Of course, make sure you’re doing things you actually want to do!

Insider Tips

You can skip the line at SEA LIFE Aquarium Melbourne, which can be a big timesaver if that’s an attraction you’re interested in.

Although some of the included attractions with the Melbourne Flexi Attractions Pass are discounts on food or beverages, we don’t recommend using the pass for those options. You’ll get better value using your choices on attraction visits and paying for dining separately.

Periodically iVenture adds new attractions (or removes old ones) from their pass program. Consult their website for the most up-to-date info, and don’t rely upon the pdfs of the guidebooks online – they are often incorrect.

Use the interactive map on the iVenture Melbourne website to help plot your itinerary. It’s a helpful way to sort by type of attraction, and to see where things are in relation to your hotel.

Where to Buy It

The iVenture Melbourne Flexi Attractions Pass can be purchased through iVenture online or over the phone.

You may also purchase the pass in town once you arrive at a number of specified purchase locations. However, you will likely pay more for the pass than you would if you purchase in advance, online.
