How the Go Stockholm All-Inclusive Pass Works
Your Go Stockholm Pass is a single travel pass that grants you entry into over 40 of the finest attractions found in Stockholm, all at a one flat admission price. You don’t pay anything out of pocket at the door. Just arrive at the attraction, present your Go Stockholm Pass, have it scanned, and enjoy!
Purchase a Go Stockholm Pass in the format that best suits you and your plans: 1, 2, 3, or 5 days. You can then visit as many attractions as you want on that number of consecutive days.
Once you’ve purchased your Go Stockholm Pass, you simply download it straight to your computer, print it out, and bring it with you to the attractions of your choice.
What’s Good with a Go Stockholm Pass
One of the best parts of a Go Stockholm Pass is its flexibility. As an all-inclusive multi-attraction pass available in a 1-day, 2-day, 3-day, or 5-day format, the Go Stockholm Pass works whether you have a single afternoon or an entire week to spend in Stockholm. Just pick whatever duration is right for you.
No matter what duration you select, once you activate your Go Stockholm Pass you’ll have to use it on consecutive days. For instance, say you purchase a 3-day Go Stockholm Pass and activate it on a Tuesday. You must then also use your pass on that same Wednesday and Thursday.
The Go Stockholm Pass may be activated at any time up to 2 years after you purchase it. This allows you to buy it at a time that is convenient for you, such as if and when you find it for sale at a discounted price.
Likewise, if your plans change after you purchase a Go Stockholm Pass, you may return your nonactivated pass and receive a full refund for up to 90 days, providing you that extra bit of peace of mind before you decide to click buy.
What could Go Stockholm Pass do Better?
You can visit a great many of Stockholm’s fine museums via your Go Stockholm Pass, and that’s a good thing. However, some of these museums will on occasion feature a special exhibit that you might also be interested in experiencing. If that proves the case, it’s more than likely you’ll need to pay for that special exhibit out of pocket, as they won’t be covered by your attraction pass.
While most of the attractions advertised as part of the Go Stockholm Pass are year-round, some popular attractions—including favorites like Birka – The Viking City, Victoria House at the Bergius Botanic Garden, the Lake Mälaren Cruise to Skokloster Castle, and the boat ride to Fjäderholmarna—are subject to seasonal closures. You’ll want to keep track of this fact as you plan your trip, for it means that at certain times of the year the Go Stockholm Pass actually offers fewer attractions than advertised.
At present, the Go Stockholm Pass doesn’t come with an all-digital option. Having the Go Stockholm Pass in tow as your one-size-fits-all ticket to the city’s finest attractions is handy, but some visitors might find having to carry around a paper ticket in our smartphone age to be a bit of a letdown.
Get Your Money’s Worth with a Go Stockholm Pass
The more attractions you visit with your Go Stockholm Pass, the more money you’re going to save. You can calculate your savings ahead of time by adding up the standard price of admission for all the attractions you plan to visit, and subtracting from that number the cost of your Go Stockholm Pass. Depending on your itinerary, it’s likely to be an impressive figure.
To maximize how many attractions you can visit with your Go Stockholm Pass, make a point of beginning your days early, and be sure to only activate your pass at the very start of your outing. Even if you activate your Go Stockholm Pass at an attraction’s closing time, you’ll be charged with using a full day of your pass.
Also, if because of time constraints you have to pick and choose which attractions to visit while using your Go Stockholm Pass, try and visit those attractions with the highest costs of admission first. That way, if there’s still more you want to see and do while in Stockholm, you’ll only need to pay out of pocket at the least expensive sites.
Go Stockholm Pass: Insider Tips
