Don’t let it’s rainy reputation fool you, Seattle is the gem of the Pacific Northwest, and the Seattle CityPASS offers discounted access to six of the city’s major attractions. For $89 (or $69 for a kids’ pass), you’ll get a booklet with tear out tickets for the iconic Space Needle, Argosy Cruises Seattle Harbor Tour, the Seattle Aquarium, the Pacific Science Center, and the Experience Music Project/Science Fiction Museum. The bonus ticket lets you choose either the Woodland Park Zoo or the Museum of Flight. You don’t have to visit all six attractions to realize savings, but if you do you’ll save at least $56 versus paying regular admission.

What’s the Seattle CityPASS good for?

You can skip the lines at most attractions with a CityPASS. Skipping lines at the Space Needle especially can save a ton of time.

Admission at the Pacific Science Center includes an IMAX film.

What Could get better?

The pass doesn’t include the Children’s Museum.

Parking isn’t included with the City Pass and can be a hassle. Meters are free on Sundays in Seattle. Parking at the Museum of Flight is always free though.

Get Your Money’s Worth

Although you can only choose one from each pair of the bonus locations, your CityPASS does entitle you to discounted admission at the second location.

The Pass includes two admissions to Space Needle within 24 hours, so you can see the city during the day and at night. This is a great way to bookend a day of sightseeing. The Pacific Science Center and the Experience Music Project/Science Fiction Museum are both near the Space Needle so you might do all of those activities on one day.

Seattle CityPASS Insider Tips

The least crowded times at the aquarium are afternoons after 1 pm during the winter, or weekday mornings before 11 during the summer.

Animals are most active in the mornings, but crowds are thinner at the Woodland Park Zoo after 1 pm.

The Museum of Flight is close to Sea-Tac airport, so it could be a good activity for your last day in town if you have a later afternoon flight.
