The Yorkshire Pass by the Leisure Pass Group offers unlimited admission to 70 of the county’s most popular attractions for one low price. With attractions in the walled ancient city of York and throughout Yorkshire, the U.K.’s largest county, there’s plenty to see and do for all visitors. Popular attractions inside the city that are included with the Yorkshire Pass include JORVIK Viking Centre, the York Castle Museum, and the spooky York Dungeon. Farther afield you’ll find Castle Howard, the medieval Fountains Abbey, and The Deep, a spectacular aquarium and conservation center.

Available as 1, 2, 3, or 6 consecutive day passes, the Yorkshire Pass also includes “skip the line benefits” so you’ll save time as well as money. An adult visiting four top attractions per day can save up to £54 per day with a 6-day Yorkshire Pass.

You only have to visit a few attractions to reap the financial benefits, and at attractions where admission is normally free, the Yorkshire Pass is good for additional savings, like in the gift shop. The pass comes with 60 additional offers for savings and freebies, including free parking at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, discounts at the Christmas Angels shop, and money off tours by foot, by bus, and by boat.

The pass is activated the first time you use it, and is good for however many consecutive calendar days you’ve purchased. It comes with a free 112-page guidebook to help you plan your trip.

What’s Good?

There are many more local attractions included in the Yorkshire Pass than with the countrywide Great Britain Heritage Pass.

What Could get better?

The pass does not cover parking at properties where there is a fee.

Some attractions are not easily accessible by train, so visitors who have a car will be able to get more value from their Yorkshire Pass.

Get Your Money’s Worth

Some of the best values include the York Dungeon (normally £14.30 for adult admission), Castle Howard (£12.50), and Yorkshire Wildlife Park (£10.50).
