Foodies from all over the world will enjoy the Taste of Kualoa Farm Trolley Tour where the participants can enjoy fresh fruit during some seasons while exploring the ancient Hawaiian Fishponds, groves and orchards, and botanical gardens at Kualoa Ranch.

The fishpond sprawls 153 acres and is still actively farmed. Visitors will have a chance to watch the fishermen work as they hear stories of the nearly 1000-year old pond and voyaging canoe. Views of the Secret Island are also available from the trolley car. The fishpond is also on the National Register of Historic Places.

Hawaiian legend tells the tale of the Moli’I and ‘Apua fishponds which are the largest ever created on the island and still actively farmed. The Moli’l fishpond is also one of the largest ponds in the entire Hawaiian Islands and is said to have been built by the Menehune, a people of legend who were dwarf-like and incredibly strong construction and engineering workers. The pond was also used to farm seafood specifically for the royal family and currently has mullet, milkfish, and threadfish being raised in its waters.
