What’s Good?

The range of activities available on the card might inspire you to go somewhere you wouldn’t have considered otherwise. If an attraction isn’t your cup of tea, there’s no money lost.

This pass is great for families. There are plenty of activities that aren’t just nightlife.

What Could get better?

Most attractions are open from about 10 am to 5 pm, and New Orleans is difficult to navigate without a car. It can be difficult to fit enough attractions in during the day to feel that you’ve gotten your money’s worth.

Transportation to the tours isn’t included, and can cost as much as $20 per person extra.

Some reviewers felt that the guidebook was not up-to-date, as some advertised tours and discounts were no longer included when they inquired with the tour provider.

Get Your Money’s Worth

Your Power Pass is activated the first time you use it to gain admission at an attraction, and this counts as your first full day even if you activate it at 5 pm. Best to save the card for your first full day of sightseeing.

A few New Orleans Power Pass customers commented that the ghost tour wasn’t worth the time, and was more of a general nighttime walking tour.
