iVenture Tasmania Cards

Tasmania is a charming destination for travelers who want to see a different, more historical side of Australia. While you won’t find much in the way of glittering urban wonderlands or internationally-famous attractions, what you will find is a delightful selection of attractions that appeal to a wide variety of travelers. From tours of Hobart, Richmond, and Mt. Wellington to cruises and boat tours, you can get great overviews of the island. You can also opt to enjoy some exhilarating sports like hang-gliding. Or, there’s no shortage of historical attractions, like preserved British farms, grand estates, beautiful gardens, and more. And there are some nice family-friendly museums, too.

If you’re headed to Tasmania and are looking to save money on admission, the iVenture products are a good option for making the most of your vacation. You’ve got nearly 30 top regional attractions of all kinds to choose from all across the island. While the attractions are scatted in different cities (and aren’t all in the major population center of Hobart), this expansiveness gives you a real sense of the island and its cultural heritage – a fuller picture than you would get by staying in just one city. With the iVenture passes, you’ll save up to 30% on combined admission prices and enjoy every minute of your trip.

The pass itself is a plastic Smart Card with a computer chip. Instead of paper tickets or booklets, you present the card at each of your chosen attractions and you’re set to enter. You pay iVenture upfront, and don’t owe the attraction anything for general admission. You don’t need to decide in advance what you want to see, but do keep in mind that many tours and cruises do require reservations in Tasmania. There is currently only one iVenture product in Tasmania – the Flexi Attractions Pass – although this may change. See below for more details on the product.

Tasmania Flexi Attractions Pass

Iventure Card Tasmania Flexi Attractions Pass

With this pass, you’ll choose three, five, or seven attractions from any of the included activities, tours, cruises, and more. You have three months from the date of card issuance to visit all of your attractions. They promise savings of up to 30% on combined gate admission, which is a great deal in a smaller market like Tasmania. This pass is ideal for those who only want to do and see a few things while in Tasmania, and for those who want to expand their explorations to other parts of the island.
