The Broome Sightseeing Pass by Australian Pinnacle Tours is good for a pre-planned half-day tour of Broome, a beach town and center for pearl diving in Western Australia. You can add on up to 3 day trips leaving from Broome, but you must purchase the pass before your arrival.

The Broome Sightseeing Pass is no longer sold. There are many tours that have taken its place.

Each variation of the Broome Sightseeing Pass includes a half-day tour of the town and its pearl industry, including overviews of Chinatown and Gantheaume Point. Afterward, you’ll take a camel ride along Cable Beach as the sun sets.

For an additional cost, you can add one, two, or three daylong tours, with seven different itineraries to choose from. Some of these optional trips include a Broome Fishing cruise, a full day trip to Derby with stops at the Mowanjum Aboriginal Community and tea at the Willare Roadhouse, or a trip to the remote Kimberley region in a 4WD vehicle.

Insider Tips

The road conditions on the 4WD Cape Leveque and Aboriginal Communities Adventure are rough, so this tour isn’t recommended for pregnant women, people traveling with very young children or infants, and anyone with back problems.

The Windjana Gorge and Tunnel Creek Adventure includes an optional tour through the tunnel, which can involve wading through waist-deep water. Bring swim trunks or shorts and sandals. If you’d rather not walk through the tunnel, you can have tea at the 4WD vehicle instead.
