Visit Oslo Pass

The Visit Olso Pass is a pre-paid smart card that gives you free admission to more than 30 attractions. It’s good for 24, 48, or 72 consecutive hours, and is activated and time-stamped the first time you use it. The pass also includes unlimited rides on the metro, busses, trams, local trains, and even ferries to the islands of the inner fjord. Like any inclusive pass, the more you use it, the more you’ll save, so it’s best for sightseers who want to visit as many attractions as they can. The pass includes a 112-page guidebook in Norwegian, English, and German to help you plan.

Also included are dozens of discounts on coach tours, gift shops, and food and drink. The website is very organized with detailed information about each attraction, as well as suggested itineraries based on art, history, even ideas for rainy days.

Some of the top attractions and best values include the Holmenkollen Ski Museum & Tower (normally 100.00 Norwegian kroner, or about $17), the Viking Ship Museum (normally 60.00kr), and the Winter Walk guided tour (normally 150.00kr).
