How it Works

The iVenture San Francisco Flexi Attractions Pass can save customers up to 50% on combined admission prices, and is a great value for travelers who want to see only a few attractions in the city.

The pass comes in increments of three or five tickets, and you can visit the corresponding number of attractions from the included list above. You don’t pay anything to the individual attractions and don’t need to choose what you want to see in advance.

This product is a plastic Smart Card that each attraction scans for your admission. No need to keep track of fussy paper tickets or booklets. Just present the pass at your chosen attractions and you’re set to go!

What’s Good?

First and foremost, the obvious value of this product makes it so popular. You can save up to 50% on combined gate prices and you’ll never get that kind of deal on individual tickets.

The pass is also really flexible for travelers on the go. You don’t need to pick what you want to see before you purchase, and have the freedom to see anything you want from the included attractions list.

Customers also love how easy to use the product is. Simple show your smart card at each attraction, they’ll scan it, and let you in.

One extra nice benefit of this particular product is how long you can use the pass for. You actually have an entire month to visit your three or five attractions, so it’s an appealing option for locals and tourists alike.

The full-color guidebook also makes for easy itinerary-designing. It contains all the info you’d need, so you aren’t constantly online looking up details.

What Could Get Better?

While the product does offer over 20 potential attractions for you to choose from, you can only visit a maximum of five. That can be tough for long vacations in the city, especially with so many amazing things to do and see. Anything extra, and you’re paying out of pocket. If you’re looking to do more in San Francisco, the Smart Destinations Go San Francisco Card may be a good option. The San Francisco CityPASS is a similar product, but is also worth considering.

You’re also only getting general admission. Anything extra like special exhibits at the art museums is an additional cost for you.

The Yosemite Tour requires an additional $60 fee paid directly to the attraction, which makes it almost not worth using the product for that attraction.

iVenture products in some other cities also include additional discounts on shopping or dining, so it’s a bit of a disappointment that this pass doesn’t.

Get Your Money’s Worth

The first way to get your money’s worth is to visit the number of attractions you purchase. Don’t buy a five-attraction pass and only see four things, as you’ll likely be losing money right away.

It can also help to see the more expensive  San Francisco attractions with the pass, and save your out of pocket expenses for the less expensive attractions.

Insider Tips

You can skip the line at select attractions, so be sure to check before your visit to see if that’s an option offered at the things you want to see.

iVenture sometimes changes attractions or adds new attractions to their program. Confirm in advance what attractions are currently eligible for the pass by consulting their website, or contacting customer service. Their online pdfs are sometimes outdated, so don’t rely on those.

It can be helpful to use the interactive map on the main iVenture San Francisco page to plan your itinerary. They also offer options for filtering attractions by type, which can be an additional assistance.

Where to Buy It

The San Francisco Flexi Attractions Pass is available online or over the phone.

You may also purchase the pass in town once you arrive at a number of specified purchase locations. However, you will likely pay more for the pass than you would if you purchase in advance, online.
