The Madrid Card, offered by Neoturismo, includes pre-paid admission to more than 50 museums, plus places like the Real Madrid Stadium, Faunia Nature Park, Madrid Cable Car, and Zoo Aquarium of Madrid. Free “Discover Madrid” walking tours are included, and are a great way to get oriented to the city and see the major sites. You also get many discounts on eating and shopping.

Unlike the similar Madrid Card, the Cultura Card does not include the Madrid Vision hop-on-hop-off tourist bus. For an additional fee, you can add on the Madrid Tourist Travel Pass for unlimited rides on most public transportation.

The Cultura Card is available in 24-, 48-, and 72-hour increments. You have up to a year from the date of purchase to activate your card.

It comes with a guidebook with detailed information in English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian. Additional benefits include up to 50% off car rental, free drink tickets at several nightclubs.

SPECIAL NOTE: The Madrid Cultura Card is no longer offered. We suggest you try the Flexi Attractions Pass or Unlimited Attractions Pass from iVenture Madrid.

What’s Good?

This pass is best for museumgoers who do not plan to take advantage of the Madrid Vision tourist bus.

What Could get better?

You’d have to see three museums in one day to get your money’s worth from a 24-hour card. The longer duration cards are the better deal.

Get Your Money’s Worth

“Your card is activated the first time you use it for admission, discounts, or transport, and it’s good for however many consecutive hours you’ve purchased. For example, a 24-hour card that is first used at 2pm on Thursday is good until 2pm on Friday.

A lot of Madrid Museums have days of the week or hours of the day that they’re free to all. If your travel is flexible, you may be able to plan to visit during these times, but they’ll be crowded.

Insider Tips

In addition to free admission, you can skip the lines at the Royal Palace, the Prado Museum, the Reina Sofia Museum, and the Thyssen Bornemisza Museum.

The 72-hour card offers free admission to the Madrid Amusement Park.

It’s recommended to make reservations for dining and show your card when asking for the check.
