With the Las Vegas Power Pass by VisiTicket you can save big on some of Sin City’s best attractions beyond the casino floors, both on and off the Strip. The pass is good for prepaid, discounted admission to more than 25 attractions and savings on food, theater shows, and even a helicopter night tour. Family-friendly attractions include the Adventuredome Las Vegas theme park, mini golf, go-karts, the Stratosphere Tower observation deck, and more. Attractions that will appeal more to adults include a Beatles tribute show, the Museum at the Las Vegas Mob Experience, and the racy Erotic Heritage Museum.

Prices are as low as $33 per day on a 5-day adult pass, so you don’t have to visit every attraction to get value from the card, but the Power Pass is definitely designed for people who like to keep up a fast sightseeing pace. Children’s passes are for ages 12 and under and are as low as $21 per day on a 5-day card.

The Las Vegas Power Pass has been purchased by Leisure Pass and is now the Go Las Vegas Pass. As an alternative, you might also consider the Las Vegas Explorer Pass

What’s Good?

The range of activities available on the card might inspire you to go somewhere you wouldn’t have considered otherwise. If an attraction isn’t your cup of tea, there’s no money lost.

This pass is great for families. There are plenty of activities that aren’t just casinos and nightlife.

It’s a very comprehensive pass and includes almost all the activities that you want to do.

What Could get better?

You’ll still have to pay a National Parks Service fee if you choose the Lake Mead Cruise. This fee isn’t covered by the Power Pass.

You’ll have to pay an $8 environmental impact fee if you take the Legacy Tour at the Grand Canyon. This fee isn’t covered by the Power Pass.

The pick-up location in Las Vegas isn’t the most convenient. You have to go downstairs to the Planet Hollywood inside Cesar’s Palace. However, once you are there you might as well use teh $10 credit to get a drink or some food.

There have been a few reports of people not getting the skip the line privledges that are promised in their literature. However, all the reports I’ve read said the problems occured at places that did not have much of a line anyways.

If you are using the pass on a Monday check with the attractions you want to visit first as some are closed that day of the week.

Get Your Money’s Worth

Your Power Pass is activated the first time you use it to gain admission at an attraction, and this counts as your first full day even if you activate it at 5 pm. Best to save the card for your first full day of sightseeing.

The Hoover Dam tour is one of the best values with the Las Vegas Power Pass.

A couple of the attractions can be used after you pass expires. Pick up tickets for the Eiffel Tower and/or the Stratoshere while the card is active but use the tickets whever you want.

Where to Buy It

The card is available at many outlets. You can buy it at Expedia, Orbitz or Travelocity or you can buy it once you get to Las Vegas but these are not great options as you may pay more. The best place the buy the card is at the VisiTicket website. The 3 day passes frequently go on sale. They also have a great return policy and 24/7 customer service. If you are pressed for time, or just want to save on shipping, use the free voucher option.
