IMPORTANT NOTE: The Go Blue Ridge Card is not longer available for purchase. Unused cards purchased in 2011 can still be used through the end of this year.
The Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina are home to some of the East Coast’s most breathtaking scenery, and the Go Blue Ridge Card from Smart Destinations is a budget-friendly and convenient way to explore the whole region. The card gives you access to river tubing, the scenic Tweetsie Railroad, Indian villages, art museums, and more. Although you can only visit each attraction once per day, there’s so much to do that you’ll have a hard time choosing. The card also includes a choice of one bonus attraction that represents up to $59 in savings by itself: pick from either the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad or the incredible Biltmore mansion.

See the complete list of attractions and tours in the sidebar.
The Go Blue Ridge Card’s biggest strengths are the diversity of attractions, and the fact that you can use it over the course of 14 days. You won’t feel like you have to spend a perfect hiking day doing indoor activities just to get your money’s worth from the card.
What Could get better?
The Go Blue Ridge Card is only accepted until 5:30 p.m. regardless of when the attraction closes.
Get Your Money’s Worth
Generally, the more days you purchase for your Go Blue Ridge Card, the fewer attractions per day you need to visit to get your money’s worth. For example, if you buy a one-day pass, you’ll need to go to three attractions; buy the seven-day pass and one attraction per day is enough to get the benefit of buying a card.
Look for the Smart Destinations logo or VIP lines where you can bypass the admission desk at many attractions.
There are no current coupons for Go Blue Ridge Card. Check back again as we are constantly updating the site with new coupons.
Where to Buy It
The card is available at many outlets. You can buy it at Expedia, Orbitz or Travelocity or you can buy it once you get to Asheville but these are not great options as you may pay more. The best place the buy the card is at the Smart Destinations website. The longer duration cards frequently go on sale. They also have a great return policy. If you are pressed for time, use the voucher option.
