The Paris Pass includes three separate passes. The Paris Museum Pass is good for admission at 55 different museums and monuments in and around Paris, including the Louvre, the Musee d'Orsay, the Centre Pompidou, and Versailles. The Paris Attractions Pass adds an additional 8 attractions, including a tour of the Paris Opera House, a cruise on the River Seine, admission to the Grevin Wax Museum, and more. It also includes a travel card, the Paris Visite Pass, which can save a lot of money. You'll get unlimited rides on the Metro, the regional train (RER), busses, trams, suburban trains, and even the Montmartre funicular—a must if you want to avoid that neighborhood's thousands of stairs on the way up to the Basilica de Sacré Coeur.

The three-part Paris Pass is available for 2, 4, or 6 consecutive days and admission is unlimited, but you can only visit each attraction once per day. In addition to all the free admissions and transportation, the Paris Pass also includes discounts on shopping, dining, and city tours.

    What's Good

  • During the summer, lines to visit Versailles, the Louvre, or Notre Dame can easily be more than an hour long. With the Paris Pass you can skip the lines, saving time and stress and giving you more time to visit more attractions.

    What Could Get Better

  • The Paris Pass advertises potential savings of £55 on a 2-day adult pass, but that's based on visiting four attractions per day, which is a fairly fast pace. The pass is best for visitors who really want to go go goand see as much as they can during their time in Paris. Visitors who want to linger over coffee in cafés or spend a long time in the Louvre may not feel they've gotten their money's worth.

The Ô Château Wine Tasting, which is normally £30 per person, is only available between 3 and 4 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Get Your Money's Worth

Travelers who prefer peace of mind or who think there's a possibility that their plans may change can purchase Paris Pass insurance for 2.5% of their order total. If you're unable to activate your pass for any reason, you can receive a full refund.

The best values are on the Palace of Versailles (normally £20 per adult ticket), the Grevin Wax Museum (£20), and the two-day hop-on/hop-off Les Cars Rouges double decker bus tour (£24).
